Little Mark

Caden in his new Activity center/jumpy-thing. He is a little small for it yet, but seems to really enjoy the spinning ball on the front and the fact that he can almost stand on his own.

Grandma Ginny and Papa Joe come for a visit!

My Mom and Dad came to town for a visit this weekend. We had a great time and took Caden all over the place. We went for a walk on Friday while it was still somewhat "warm" outside. And then Saturday he got to see his first snow, I think he saw it...who knows. We went shopping, to church and then had dinner at Toone P Wiggins on Sat night.

Cute baby feet.

After a bath, ready to suck his thumb and take a nap.

Just kidding... I don't want to miss anything!

Waking up Saturday and spending time with Dad in the big bed! Usually Caden wakes up around 7:30-8am and is wide awak and ready to see everything and talk to us. We bring him back to our bed and we have family time just hanging out in our jammies on Sat morning.

Laughing with Grandma Ginny.

Sunday Jessi, Josie, Caden and I went to the Dayton Mall for some xmas shopping and just to get out for a bit. I tried to help him see Santa and the giant teddy bear, but he wasn't interested. There was too much commotion going on at the mall.

He has been smiling so much lately. He just loves to see us and smiles right away.
Caden was helping me fold laundry the other day!

Caden really likes the animals on his mobile. He listens to the music and watches them go round and round. I think the elephant is his favorite!

Dad reading to our little boy. Caden has taken more of an interest in the books in the past few weeks. He has also been drooling quite a bit lately, here you can see his pumpkin bib collecting all the slobber. (Thanks Andy!)

Reed's baby shower

We hosted a couple's or should I say family baby shower for Jeff and Kyley Reed. Kyley is due at the end of January and looks amazing! We had a great time and I think the kids did as well! There were 7 kids in attendance and 5 that were running around playing with the toys. Check out the pic...we were able to get them all together for a few pictures.
Front: Kelsey Francis, Collin Francis, Ross Francis, Josie Bergman and Nolan Roscoe
Top: Lukas Botkin and Caden Francis

We were lucky to find out that more of our friends are expecting child #2! There were 5 pregnant women at the party! Lukas, Josie and Nolan will all have siblings arriving next year! Liz & Brian Bertke are expecting another one as well! So next year's get togethers will be even louder and crazier! Should be fun!

Soon-to-be papa Jeff Reed watching the chaos and looking forward to cramming all the baby stuff into their house!

The adults! Guest of honor, Kyley in the orange. Mama/Papa to be Tony and Jessi Bergman are to the right of the pic. Kevin (bar stool by window) & Theresa(red sweater on left) Finnigin were in town from Baltimore. On the couch you will find Ben Botkin, Hemo (Craig) Hemmelgarn, Mya and Joel Stammen. Becca we missed you but hope you had fun at your party in MI. Chris Roscoe is in the green sweater on the carpet.
Brian Bertke playing with Nolan. Man can that kid crawl fast!

Thanks to everyone who brought food and/or decorations, we appreciate your help. We had a great time and are a little exhausted this morning.

Hiking at Charleston Falls

Caden and I enjoying the fall foliage. Last week we had 70 degree weather, so it was probably the last nice fall weekend. Mark and I thought we would take the fam out for some fresh air.

Mark and Nia looking out over railing.

Caden and I posing for another pic. Unfortunately since we haven't had much rain, the waterfall wasn't much more than a trickle. Oh well.

Caden in the car on the way home. Happy Boy!

Caden's first go at the Bumbo!

Here is our little bear cub getting ready for a walk around the neighborhood. Instead of fussing with getting him in the carseat, I decided that he could ride like a big kid today!
